Managing Director of Fund Placements (High net worth investments or institutional background)

Job description:

We have an opportunity for a VP or partner-level professional with experience in one or more of:

  • Fund placements
  • High net worth sales – with alternative asset experience
  • Hedge fund sales
  • Institutional equity sales

This position will suit a mid-senior level professional with experience in financial sales that is interested in transitioning to an entrepreneurial role that involves a blend of buyside and sellside work. After an eligibility period there is an opportunity to be promoted to partner based on performance.



  • Introduce our funds to high net worth, family offices and international funds
  • Follow up with high net worth leads introduced by our fund marketing team
  • Develop relationships with family offices and funds in your local markets
  • Utilize CRM effectively
  • Sales organization leadership and development


Must have:

  • Strong rolodesk of family office, hedge fund and/or high net worth investors
  • Must be comfortable using LinkedIn and other modern platforms for strategic lead generation
  • Must be comfortable making targeted calls to senior executives and strategic family offices
  • Understanding of fund and venture capital / private equity products
  • Some experience of venture capital or venture capital investors
  • Must be an entrepreneurial self starter



  • Equity in our portfolio companies
  • Own a piece of each portfolio that is typically about 30 companies
  • Percentage of management fee
  • Role is a long-term partner level role
